Guest Speaker Series: Tax Planning hosted by Corey House and John Caserta

Our Guest Speaker Series is hosted by Corey House and Alex Kreis from Prime Financial Services. The topic for Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 12:00-1:00 PM is Tax Planning: Understanding the Impact Taxes Have on Investments and the Different Types of Investment Accounts. Our Guest Speakers: Corey House, Senior Associate at Prime Financial Services Corey was raised on the shoreline in Connecticut and was encouraged to attend Penn State University by one of his teachers. He is an active member of the CT Valley Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association and graduate of the Eberly College of Science '14 with a B.S. in Chemistry. He continued his Chemistry education at the University of Connecticut, and then proceeded to enter secondary education, teaching high school chemistry for 5 years. Corey's passion for education veered from Chemistry to Finance, as he began providing financial literacy seminars for post-secondary schools, most commonly Yale University, located in New Haven, CT. In his spare time, Corey enjoys his time on the baseball field as an official, coaching football, and playing poker. Alex Kreis, Managing Director at Prime Financial Services Alex was born and raised in North Dakota. He graduated in 2011 from Jamestown College with a degree in Business Administration as well as a degree in Financial Planning and Marketing. He played college baseball and following his senior season, he was selected in the 35th round by the Washington Nationals in the 2011 MLB Draft. He pitched professionally for five seasons then ultimately retired. Alex shifted his passion and competitive focus onto helping his clients achieve their financial goals. In his spare time, Alex enjoys the outdoors with his yellow lab Ace and playing golf.
