Insurance plans are protections against life’s surprises and risks. Health and medical insurances are rated at the top of human needs in our society. Getting insurance can be pricy, but going without insurance can be utterly dangerous to one’s life and financial stability. As a student, you are insured through the university or carried under your parents’ insurance till you are 26 years of age as long as you are a full time student. If you have a car on campus, you will need to make sure you carry at least the minimum standard required insurance by the State.
